Jayasuriya Leaves Hospital After Heart Surgery…
Sri Lanka’s chief cricket selector Sanath Jayasuriya who had received treatment for a heart ailment at Nawaloka Hospital for the past few days has been released from the hospital after a successful minor surgery to install a stent into one of the coronary arteries to clear a blockade, a spokesman for the legendary former cricketer told “Daily Mirror”.
The former star player who is now a deputy minister of the government turned 45 on Monday.
He is expected to complete his recovery process at his home and has been adviced to take rest and avoid speaking as much as possible, till the recovery is complete.
The spokesman made a request on behalf of Jayasuriya to all well wishers, friends and his millions of fans to help him co-operate with the medical instructions in order to enable a speedy recovery
