Sri Lanka Air Force Celebrates 64th Anniversary…

The 64th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force was celebrated on Monday (March 02) by all SLAF establishments. Its journey of 64 years since its inception has been eventful and significant.

The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, addressed the parade held at AFHQ premises and extended his best wishes to all members of the Air Force on it’s 64th anniversary. The Commander thanked all members past and present and their families for their contribution towards enabling the Air Force to reach the heights it has achieved.

Sports activities and an all-ranks lunch was held at the Rifle green grounds, Air Force Colombo with the participation of the Commander, senior officers and all personnel.
