Sri Lanka Business Chamber to Hold Post Budget Seminar!

Sri Lanka’s main business chamber, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) will hold a post budget seminar on October 30 to discuss the ‘National Budget of 2015’, which will be presented in Parliament on October 24.

Asenior official of the Inland Revenue Department will deliver a presentation under the title of, ‘Taxation Proposals of Budget 2015’.

During the seminar, top government officials, senior tax consultants and corporate executives as panelists will brief the private sector operational staff on all aspects of conditions stipulated in the ‘015 Budget , the Chamber of Commerce said.

The panelists will include Duminda Hulangamuwa, Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce; Mrs. R. M. R. W. Manchanayake, Acting Commissioner General of Inland Revenue Department; Ms. Dhammika Gunatilaka, Senior Commissioner, Inland Revenue Department; N. R. Gajendra, Senior Partner of Gajma and Company; and Ms. Nilanthi Sivapragasam, Chief Financial Officer of Aitken Spence PLC.

The event will take place at the Ceylon Chamber Auditorium starting at 2.30 pm.
