Sri Lanka’s Asiri Hospital Group Buys Out JKH…

Sri Lanka’s Asiri Hospital Holdings said it had bought out three shareholders including John Keells Holdings in Central Hospital Limited, a subsidiary.

John Keells Holdings said it had sold a 24.06 percent stake in Central Hospitals for 1.59 billion rupees, making a capital gain of 662 million rupees.

Union Assurance Plc, a firm linked to JKH also sold a 2.73 percent stake in the hotel and Aureos South Asia Fund, a private equity firm sold a 10 percent stake at the same time to Asiri Hospital Holdings.

Asiri Hospitals Holdings is controlled by Sri Lanka’s Softlogic Holdings.
