Steven Seagal Considering Governor Run…

Action movie legend Steven Seagal could be following Arnold Schwarzenegger – and making the move into US politics.

Seagal told a radio station in Phoenix, Arizona, that he would “remotely consider” running for governor of the state.

The 61-year-old, who serves as a deputy sheriff in Arizona’s infamous Maricopa County, revealed he’d had discussions about a political move with the county’s sheriff, Joe Arpaio.

And topping the list of issues for Seagal would be immigration, having previously stated that border control was the US’s biggest problem.

His TV series, Steven Seagal: Lawman, shows Seagal working as a deputy sheriff, and has courted controversy for one raid which resulted in the death of a puppy and 100 chickens.
